Biennale Tecnologia - Urban Smart Mobility

19 April 2024 - Fourth edition of the Technology Biennale in Turin from April 18-21, with the aim of offering the community a thoughtful, inclusive and accessible reflection on the relationship between technology and society.

On April 19 at 3:30 p.m. in Room 3 of the Polytechnic University of Turin, Beatrice Borgia, Chief Corporate Development Officer of the Teoresi Group, and Gianmarco Montanari, Director General of MOST, will discuss strategies and innovations to overcome the main mobility challenges being addressed within the National Center for Sustainable Mobility: decarbonization, decongestion, accessibility, and safety.

The dialogue will be moderated by Press journalist Paolo Griseri, who will focus on a broad vision of integrated mobility between vehicles and infrastructure, aiming at more widespread and functional public transport, disciplined sharing, and new proposals for last-mile logistics.

G7 TRANSPORT ACADEMIC WORKSHOP

The workshop "Planning for resilient transport systems" on April 10th, 2024 (h. 9:00- 18:00 CEST) organised by the MOST (Centro per la mobilità sostenibile) and Politecnico  di Milano in preparation of the G7 Transport ministerial meeting “The Future of Mobility. Ensuring global connectivity in an uncertain World”, organized under the Italian Presidency. 

The workshop would assemble scholars and researchers from the G7 Countries investigating solutions and best practices for ensuring mobility under uncertainty about the future and under disruptions within transportation systems.
The results are expected to inform future research endeavors, policy recommendations, and practical applications, to be included in a paper to be delivered to the G7 Ministries.

Mobility Conference

09 April 2024 - MCE 4x4, the leading Italian open innovation initiative dedicated to innovative and sustainable mobility, is strengthened this year with a new territorial collaboration. Alongside historic promoters Assolombarda and the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce, the initiative involves Unione Industriali di Torino, Confindustria Genova and their respective Chambers of Commerce.

The goal is to look at the northwest of the country from an ecosystem perspective, a triangle where 35 percent of Italian startups active in the field of mobility reside and the nerve center of the country's manufacturing companies.
A plenary conference will be held on April 9 starting at 9:30 a.m. at Assolombarda headquarters. This will be followed by simultaneous round tables at the Milan, Genoa and Turin headquarters, where there will be discussions on key mobility trends.

Following the event, the MCE 4x4 call for startups will be launched, which, new this year, will be open for the first time to companies from other European regions.

Presentation Giro-E di RCS

5 Aprile 2024 -Giro-E is an amateur bike experience in which participants, divided into teams and equipped with pedal-assisted racing bikes, undergo regularity tests carried out on part of the route of the Corsa Rosa stages.
It is a format that enhances the beauty of Italy and allows people to enjoy it from the saddle of a bike, immersed in breathtaking landscapes and the atmosphere of the Giro.
This year MOST Centro Nazionale per la mobilità sostenibile will be at the forefront of the research and development taking place within the University of Bergamo, Spoke leader 5 who will be experimenting with cutting-edge technology on some of the bikes in the Giro. In addition, we will be present with a booth on all stages, just to make people try the latest news and innovations in the field of light mobility.

"Up2Stars" Startup innovative

4 april 2024 - Gianmarco Montanari on the panel of judges to evaluate the startups nominated for the last of this year's four categories launched by Intesa Sanpaolo program promoting the second edition of "Up2Stars." The program to stimulate the innovation potential that startups can generate in support of national supply chains as part of the digital and ecological transition.
At the end of each acceleration pathway dedicated to the best 10 startups in each category (Water Tech, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Artificial Intelligence for Business Transformation and IoT, Infrastructure and Mobility), a Demo Day is scheduled to present the startups and their innovative projects to an audience of investors and Intesa Sanpaolo corporate clients.

At the end of the four growth paths, an event will be organized to enhance and celebrate all 40 accelerated startups.
