RedWave

RedWave is the MOST project dedicated to promoting sustainable mobility, through high-performance land and marine prototypes powered by clean energies such as solar and hydrogen. The project enhances two main lines of activity: the presentation of RED (Racing Eco Demonstrators) vehicles at national and international events, and the development of new marine prototypes for globally relevant competitions.

Among the land vehicles, Emilia 5, a solar-electric hybrid propulsion vehicle with four seats, and its predecessor Emilia 4, powered by hydrogen, have already achieved significant successes, including victory in the South African Solar Challenge 2024. Both will participate in the World Solar Challenge 2025 in Australia and the Albi Eco Race in France, demonstrating Italian excellence in design and sustainable innovation.

At the same time, the project is developing new hydrogen electric boats, including UniBo and UniGe, and the SeaLab Class, multi-occupant, which will be validated during the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge 2025. These prototypes combine energy efficiency, lightweight design, and innovative materials such as natural fibers, confirming MOST's commitment to sustainability even in the naval sector.

RedWave is not limited to technical competition: the project includes a national tour in various locations of the Italian “Spokes,” with events and meetings aimed at disseminating innovations and engaging the public. Thanks to a multi-channel and multimedia communication strategy, RedWave amplifies the impact of the results, inspires new generations, and promotes Italy's leadership in sustainable mobility.
