Final event Spoke 10: Freight & Logistics, advanced solutions for logistics and goods transport

At Villa Doria D’Angri of the University of Naples Parthenope, the closing event of Spoke 10 – Freight and Logistics of MOST will be held, dedicated to innovation in freight transport and logistics systems. The meeting will present the results of the research activities carried out on improving supply chains, optimizing routes, and reducing the environmental impact of transport operations. Spoke 10 has developed advanced solutions that range from the use of drones for parcel delivery to the application of artificial intelligence to optimize maritime flows, as well as the experimentation of electric vehicles for urban logistics. During the event, universities, technology companies, and industry operators that have contributed to the projects will speak, illustrating future developments and application cases. The day will conclude with a panel dedicated to technology transfer and the role of smart logistics hubs in making the freight transport system more efficient, flexible, and sustainable.
