Mobisco Observatory Event: data and sources on school and systematic mobility

Every day, millions of students and workers reshape our cities with their daily movements.

School and systematic mobility, related to study and work, represents one of the most decisive levers for building more sustainable, accessible, and efficient territories.

The Observatory on school and systematic mobility was created with the aim of archiving and integrating sources and data on the demand for daily mobility, offering a structured and updated framework to support public policies. Through Travel Demand Management tools and Decision Support Systems (DSS) for urban transport planning, the Observatory aims to be a strategic infrastructure to guide evidence-based choices.

In integration with the activities of the National Observatory for sustainable local mobility foreseen by Decree 68/2022, the initiative intends to connect data, regulations, and policies in a systemic vision that unites school, university, and work.

The event will be an opportunity to understand how the structured knowledge of daily flows can become a concrete tool for governance and urban transformation.
