Sunrise Observatory Event: market and energy transition in the automotive sector

5 June 2025
During some stages of the Giro-E Enel 2025, universities and companies tested technologies and ideas ready to change the way we move.
📍 A smart helmet developed with the University of Florence, capable of detecting accidents and estimating in real time the injuries sustained by those riding a bicycle or motorcycle.
📍 A flexible and detachable bike concept, designed for agile cities.
📍 New charging stations for e-bikes, the result of collaboration with Pradella Sistemi Srl.
And a project with Poste Italiane looking towards the near future of sustainable delivery in ZTL: cargo e-bikes with low-impact materials, autonomy over 100 km, solar charging, and a 500-liter compartment managed via app. The experimentation will start in July, in the province of Bari.
It is also mentioned by TG Poste in the segment of June 5, from minute 0:21:30 https://tgposte.poste.it/tgposte/2025/06/05/tg-poste-del-5-giugno-2025/
The activities, coordinated by Prof. Paolo Malighetti of the University of Bergamo and Prof. Alessandra Flammini of the University of Brescia, with the support of local CUS and the Cycling Lab Point, have demonstrated the value generated when sports, well-being, and technology communicate together.
