The University of Parma and the developments in Spoke 4 and 9

The University of Parma will host a meeting dedicated to project development within Spoke 4 (Rail Transport) and Spoke 9 (Urban Mobility), as part of the National Center for Sustainable Mobility (MOST). During the event, the most innovative research lines and the developed prototypes will be presented, including the Railway Superstructure Test Frame (RSTF), a unique testing apparatus made with cutting-edge technologies.

The aim is to illustrate how the University contributes to the national network of research centers and laboratories, creating large-scale demonstration environments and effective prototypical applications. During the meeting, there will be an overview of the main actions, with particular emphasis on the synergies between the departments of Engineering, Architecture, and Mathematical, Physical, and Computer Sciences.

The objectives of Spoke 4, which promotes sustainable mobility and reduction of emissions in rail transport, and Spoke 9, focused on intelligent and inclusive urban scenarios, will be explored in depth. The event will also provide an opportunity to open the doors to the University's infrastructure, including laboratories and centers of excellence, which allow testing project solutions on a real scale and strengthening collaboration between universities, institutions, and businesses.
