The 5G SESAMO project is starting. Towards a more connected and safer mobility.

Part 5G SESAMO (SEcure and SAfe MObility and logistics), a project funded by the European Union under the Connecting Europe Facility – Digital program, followed by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), aimed at accelerating the spread of advanced and interoperable 5G networks in our country.

The project is coordinated by MOST - National Center for Sustainable Mobility and brings together a national consortium involving industrial actors and competence centers engaged in the development and adoption of next-generation 5G infrastructure.

It involves as affiliated partners the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, CNR-STEMS, and as beneficiaries TIM, the competence centers CIM Competences for Industry and Manufacturing, SMACT Competence Center, BI-REX Competence Center, CYBER 4.0 - Cybersecurity Competence Center and Meditech - Competence Center together with Azienda Zero Piemonte.

Further strengthening the initiative is the wealth of laboratories, equipment, and knowledge developed through funding from MUR from Spoke7 of MOST in the national flagship CCAM4Italy.
